Wine Hottie: Honig Winery Women

Category: Wine Hotties | Comments (2)

I did a double take when looking at the "about us" page for Honig Winery. This winery hires nothing but beautiful women!! To showcase them as a wine hottie individually would take all year so this month, we're calling the winery itself and all those in it, the Wine Hottie for the month of April.

Just to ramble of a few of the hotties out of this Rutherford winery:

Elaine Honig gets extra points for taking on the role of Creative Director. Us art-folk like to stick together.

Jennifer Petschek started her career right after college and has become their rep for national sales. Customers adore her as their favorite sales person.

Natalie Hung. I'm not sure my words can do her justice. A southern mother and Hawaiian father. Nuff said. Natalie manages the San Francisco Bay Area - we're so lucky too!! I'm a sucker for Hawaiians...

Kim Villanueva manages San Diego and Orange County territories where her customer enjoy her spicy personality and enthusiasm. And why wouldn't they!

Alesha Clarke manages sales in Los Angeles since her background with food and wine and aspirations of the actor's life are a perfect fit.

As you can see, beauty radiates from the heavens when you think of the women of Honig Winery. How's the wine? I have no idea but having any one of these ladies as a contact would certainly have me stocking my shelves full of it.

Wine Hottie: Camille Seghesio

Well, I'm off to London in search of such beauty I'd turn dollars (& pounds) hand over first for Seghesio wines just to rest my eyes on Camille... ah, please now... let a young man be shallow and enjoy his dream!

Oh, Camille. Why must you live on the other side of the pond? Every time I visit your family's winery, I secretly hope you'll be behind the counter that day but alas, you never are. Granted, you're probably a bit out of my league with your Masters in Economics from Stanford, MBA from the University of Chicago, and now the European distribution network manager for the family business... but I can still hope one day you'll see what you're missing back here in the states!

Let it be known guys: this is one impressive woman. Tri-lingual, incredibly worldly and chances are she could probably run off the latest football scores. Her brief bio can be read here on the Seghesio website.

Camille takes the award for Wine Hottie of the month for February 2005. Thats quite an accomplishment may I add... not everyone can have such a line item on their extensive resume.

Wine Hottie: Lisa Peju

I'm starting a new column that I think will become quite a hit. After a *lot* of rambling about the lack of hotties in the wine industry and using more effective marketing methods to attract Millennials, this is my effort to give you young reader a reason to check back often! Here's the first of many to come:

Lisa Peju: Peju Province

Daughter of Peju owner Tony Peju, Lisa was brought forward as the face of their winery in a series of advertisements just for you! That's right. Peju is aiming to attract new, younger customers to visit their winery in Rutherford since 90% of their sales are direct to the public via their tasting room.

They started running advertising campaigns using Lisa as the focus. This had many wineries scratching their heads but Peju was rolling in doubled profits and doubled wine club members since the ads. Kudos for Peju for recognizing this market and getting their message out in a most convincing way.

This goes to show that using hotties in a tasteful method can be an effective marketing tool. More on their efforts here

I've visited Peju Province Winery a few times now and sadly, I have yet to have the privilege to gaze my eyes on the beauty that is Lisa Peju. Perhaps one day soon, she'll bless us all with her presence.
